Layer 1: Blocklist

Layer 2: On-device AI on the screen

Layer 3: Lockout

After the warning limit, the session can stop. Not “please close this tab.” The input devices lock for a period so the impulse cannot immediately continue in another app. This is the piece accountability apps and most AI blurs do not do. It is also why we are honest about being desktop-only: a lockout on a phone is a different engineering and product problem.

Can it be bypassed like a browser extension?

Extensions die when you switch browsers or use another profile. Lockout is system-level on that computer. No desktop tool is magic against a determined administrator forever: that is why family setups should use a standard user account for the person being protected.

Does it send screenshots to Sigmaio?

Enforcement is designed to run on the device. Family and Pro can send email notifications to a partner or parent. That is not a screenshot report of what was on screen.
