What is Sigma Vision?
Sigma Vision is an AI-powered content blocker for Windows and Mac that detects and stops explicit content in real time, without relying on a static list of blocked websites.
How does Sigma Vision work?
It runs three layers: a blocklist for known adult sites, real-time AI image recognition for anything that gets past the blocklist, and a full device lockout of screen, keyboard, mouse, and voice input once a configurable warning limit is reached.
Does Sigma Vision work on both Windows and Mac?
Yes. All three protection layers run natively on both Windows and macOS.
Does Sigma Vision send reports to anyone?
Detection and lockout happen on-device. We do not send screenshot reports of what was on screen. Family and Pro can email a partner or parent when you turn that on, plus a dashboard to manage several Windows and Mac devices.

What is the difference between Starter, Family, and Pro?
Starter is one computer. Family adds a family dashboard, per-device settings, parent emails, and priority support (up to 5 devices). Pro raises the limit to 10 devices and adds early access, priority feature requests, and premium support.
Does any plan include iPhone or Android?
No. Sigma Vision is Windows and Mac only.
How the lockout works
What happens when the warning limit is reached?
Sigma Vision locks the screen, keyboard, mouse, and voice input, cutting off the ability to keep using the computer until the lockout period ends.
Can the lockout be bypassed?
No. Because it operates at the system level rather than inside a single browser or app, closing a window or switching programs doesn’t restore access.
Is the number of warnings before lockout adjustable?
Yes. You can configure how many warnings occur before the lockout triggers, so the same tool can be set up strictly for a child’s device or more gradually for an adult working on their own habits.
Comparing Sigma Vision to other tools
What’s the difference between a porn blocker and an accountability app?
A blocker like Sigma Vision prevents access directly, either through a blocklist or content detection. An accountability app such as Covenant Eyes generally allows access but reports activity to a trusted partner afterward.
Can porn blockers be bypassed?

Why does Mac ask for an administrator password once or twice?
Those prompts install removal protection. One at first launch (start at login). One more when activation installs tamper-protection.
